本校では月に一回英語礼拝を行っています。外国人宣教師で本校英語科教師のエ ルダー先生が担当しています。英語の聖書を読み、英語のメッセージを聞きま す。生徒たちは日本語訳されたプリントを見ながら話を聞いていました。
Today was the monthly English chapel service. Our foreign teacher delivered a message in English and the students followed along with a printed translation.

今日は３Ｅのクラス担当礼拝です。 ピアノは谷川さんが担当し、ジャズ調の奏楽。クラスによる合唱曲は” Jesus loves me"。 そして山口さんによるお話は重いながらも、前向きで清々しい内容。 今朝は生徒が持っている生命力と感受性に改めて感動しました。
3E class conducted the chapel service today. Aya Tanikawa played the piano and Yukino Yamaguchi gave a short sermon. At the end of the service, the entire class sang "Jesus Loves Me" in English. It was a very nice service.

１学年ＰＴＡ講話・懇親会が午後６時から市内のホテルで行われ、総勢７２名の 参加をいただきました。
第１部では生徒の学校生活の様子を紹介するビデオの上映や進路調査の結果報 告、来年度のカリキュラム説明、聖書の模擬授業が行われました。その後、第２ 部では懇親の時がもたれました。
The parents of first year students took time out of their busy schedules to attend the PTA meeting today.

創立１２０年をおぼえて創立記念礼拝を行いました。 日本キリスト教団奥羽教区総会議長の邑原宗男牧師が説教をして下さいました。 ぶどうの木のたとえ（ヨハネによる福音書１５章）を用いてお話下さいました。 「イエスにつがっていること」の大切さを学びました。
Today we had a chapel service to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the founding of Seiai High School. Pastor Muneo Ohara from Esashi Church in Iwate came to speak in honor of the occasion. His sermon was from the Gospel of John. We thank God for all His blessings throughout the past 120 years and pray that He will continue to bless us for many years to come.

今日は今年度初めてのクラス担当礼拝です。 各クラスで讃美歌を選び、お話を考えて礼拝を取り仕切ります。 ３年Ｆクラスが担当した今回は、礼拝堂にＡｍａｇｉｎｇ　Ｇｒａｃｅの歌声が 響きました。
The students from 3F class led our morning chapel service today. They read the Bible, gave a small sermon, and at the end they sang "Amazing Grace" for us. It was a beautiful service.

今年度３クラス目の生活教室が行われました。クラスは１Ｇです。 生活教室は岩木山麓百沢にある弘前学院のスクールハウスで行われます。 森の中の自然豊かな環境です。 テレビや携帯電話からひととき離れ、クラスの仲間たちや引率の教師たちと語り合います。
This is what we call the "school house." It is a retreat center owned by Hirosaki Gakuin on the slopes of Mt. Iwaki and is a fabulous place to get away and reflect. All of our first year students have a class retreat here to talk about their hopes and dreams for high school and beyond.

今日は花の日礼拝です。
生徒はたくさんの美しい花を持ってきてくれました。 これらのお花は、いつもお世話になっている方々へ感謝の気持ちと共にお届けし ます。
Today was flower day in chapel. All the students brought flowers for the chapel service, and after school they brought the flowers to local retirement homes to brighten up some people's days.

今年度２クラス目の生活教室が行われました。クラスは１Ａクラスです。 クラスのひとりひとりが「自分の将来」や「高校時代の目標」などの作文を発表します。お互いの考えを知り合い、理解し合う貴重な時間です。
The students from 1A class listen to each others' hopes and dreams as part of their annual retreat.

教育実習生を迎えました。 卒業生が先生役で母校に帰ってきました。緊張した面持ちの先生を生徒は暖かく迎えています。
A student teacher from one of the local universities is giving a lesson to some of our first-year students. All told, we had five student teachers this year, and we wish them well in the future.

バレーボール部優勝！ 高校総体の結果報告会、東北大会壮行式を行いました。 競技に応援に聖愛が一丸となって臨んだ高校総体は終わりました。 今度は東北です。新たな希望を胸に、がんばる決意をしました。
Our principal smiles happily as he presents trophies to members of Seiai's volleyball team. The volleyball team is the prefectural champion for 2005 and we are all very proud of them!

バレーボールの八戸会場へは３年生が。 大きな声援の中、五所川原商業のブロックを打ち破りスパイクを見事に決めました。
The basketball and volleyball teams are here competing for the prefectural championship. Students and teachers cheered them on as they played.

バスケットボール準決勝は１,２年生が応援に駆けつけましたが、 残念ながら１点差で弘前高校に負けました。

高校総体開会式。旗をなびかせ堂々と聖愛の意気込みをアピールします。

いよいよ明日は高校総体の開会式。　がんばれ聖愛！
みんなの思いをこめて壮行式を行いました。
The students participating in the Aomori Prefectural sports tournaments are on stage at a pep rally.
Their fellow students and faculty, led by the cheerleaders (SPG), are cheering them on to do their best!

バスケットボール部は悲願の優勝に向けて、ボルテージを上げています。
The basketball team is drilling really hard to get ready for the big game. We wish them all the best.
