修学旅行四日目。ユニバーサルスタジオジャパンを見学してきました。今はハロウィンのイベントが盛り沢山です。ハロウィンやエルモのかぶりものを買った人も多くいました。

修学旅行三日目です。沖縄美ら海水族館にやってきました。世界一の水族館を堪能しました。

修学旅行二日目です。今日は、平和祈念公園、平和の石礎、ひめゆりの塔・記念館をまわりました。

修学旅行一日目の今日は、首里城公園を見学しました。沖縄の気温は28度、日差しも強く、早くも日焼けしそうです。

第２回聖愛中学校説明会が行われました。
たくさんの方が参加して下さいました。回を重ねるごとに参加者が増え、我々は 喜びと共に緊張を感じています。 みなさんに充実した学校生活を過ごして頂くために、これからも開校に向け準備 をいたしますので、よろしくお願いします。 次回は１１月１９日（土）です。多数のご参加お待ちしています。
Today was the second explanatory meeting about Seiai Junior High School. The next one will be Saturday, November 19.

今年度最後の生活教室が行われました。クラスは１Ｅです。 スクールハウスのまわりも赤や黄色に色づき、秋の深まりを感じる中での生活教室でした。 生活教室では振り返りの時間を大切にしています。２日間を体験する中でどのようなことを感じ、これからの学校生活に何を生かして いくのか考えて欲しいからです。生徒たちは２日間を思い出しながら感想文を書いています。
This weekend was 1E class' retreat. They volunteered at a nursing home and talked about their goals and dreams.

中間テストが終わり、少しほっとする時期です。 SPGは明日の青森県私学振興大会のアトラクションのための練習をしています。 運動部の応援活動はもちろんですが、様々な機会に演技を披露しています。
This is SPG, our cheerleading club, practicing their routine. They work hard every day, but today they are working especially hard to prepare for their upcoming performance.

テスト期間中には教職員の修養会が開かれています。今回は本校の根幹をなす キリスト教について、宗教主任の石垣先生に講義して頂きました。会はいきなり のテストで始められました（写真）。採点するのは得意ですが、テストを受ける のは緊張しました。生徒の気持ちを知るという学びにもなりました。
The teachers gathered today for a Bible study led by our chaplain, Ms. Ishigaki.

２学期の中間テストが始まりました。１時間目の試験問題が配られています。配り終わると鉛筆の音だけが聞こえるようになりまし た。

校庭の梨の木に実がなりました。 ひっそりと毎年小さな実を実らせます。秋の訪れを感じます。
The season is changing from summer into a lovely fall.

「おかげさまで　120年」
120年記念式典が盛大に催されました。会場となった弘前市民会館には多くのお 客様をお迎えし礼拝を捧げました。 特別講演では、「いのちと響き合う言葉」と題してノンフィクション作家の柳田 邦男先生にお話をして頂きました。 弘前学院は今後も真摯な態度で教育活動に力を注いで参ります。よろしくお願い いたします。

Hirosaki Gakuin celebrated it's 120th anniversary in a ceremony held at the citizen's hall in Hirosaki.
